Countdown to Wroclaw

We've now reached Poland, the fifth country on this trip (if we include Finland where we only cycled about 50 kilometers…). We've immediately fallen in love with the quiet country roads, rolling hills, frequent villages and countless stork nests.

We're slowly heading south, but will make a lengthy detour on our way to Ukraine. We're now in the Northeastern corner of Poland, and will cycle through the whole country to the Southwestern city of Wroclaw. From there we'll continue even further to the mountainous area of Lower Silesia, where we'll park our bikes for a week and take part in a yoga retreat before heading east to Ukraine.

And so the countdown begins: we have to be in Wroclaw on the 18th to make it to the retreat on time without pedaling through the night. We have about 600-700 kilometers to go, depending on how many detours we'll end up doing from the heavily trafficked main roads. Wish us luck!
