Yes, the weather's been totally crazy. We've luckily avoided the tornados that tore through Northern Poland last week, but yesterday we again kept putting on rain gear and taking it off as the weather changed from hot sunshine to pouring rain in just a few minutes.
There have been lots of similar days now, with short, heavy rains, strong winds and beautiful sunshine in between. Yesterday we talked with a local who said this is really unusual, and his grandmother had said she has never seen weather like this in Poland. Dare we say "climate change"? Or is it just unusually dramatic summer weather? Who knows… In any case, we had been afraid of it being too hot here for cycling, but despite the craziness the temperature's actually mostly been perfect for cycling, around 20 degrees celsius.
